We
all mourn the passing of coach William "Babe" Mousseau
and dedicate our upcoming season to "Babe" who passed
away 6/30/03.
Babe
was an absolutely wonderful man, parent, teacher, principal and
one of the all time best coaches. He won many championships at BHS
and is the all time winningest coach of New England hockey championships.
I have been fortunate to know Babe my entire life. - Coach McConnell

- Led BHS to consecutive
Class C football Championships, '37&'38
- Outfielder for the 1937
State runner-up baseball team
- Co-captain of Burrillville's first
hockey team, 1938
- WWII
combat veteran of the African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns
- Graduate
of St. Bonaventure College
- Principal of Mapleville school, Harrisville
Grammar School, Levy School, and Callahan School
- Appointed head
coach hockey, 1956-'57 season and won three consecutive State titles
- Over 18 seasons never failed to make the playoffs, advancing past
the quarter-finals 17 times
- Advanced to the State Championship
eleven times, winning seven titles
- Reached the finals of the New
England Championship nine times, winning five titles, including
Rhode Island's first in 1959
